Harsh Madhusudan

Harsh Gupta ‘Madhusudan’ is an India-based investor and equity strategist at Ionic Wealth by Angel One. He is the co-author of A New Idea of India (Penguin Viking, 2023) and Derivatives (Cambridge University Press, 2017). He has written on economics, finance and public policy for Mint, Swarajya, Wall Street Journal, Hindu Business Line, Indian Express and various other publications.

Harsh has worked with NSE International Exchange, Bain & Company, MIT Poverty Action Lab and Ashika Group. He dropped out of IIT Delhi, graduated from Dartmouth College and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He is a CFA charterholder and received the B.R. Shenoy Award for Economics in 2022. He is a visiting faculty at the Indian School of Business and has lectured at various IIMs too.
