What does it mean to feel alone even when you are surrounded by people?

In White Nights, Dostoyevsky captures the intensity of a connection that arrives unexpectedly and changes everything. Over four summer nights, a lonely dreamer meets a young woman and finds, perhaps for the first time, someone who seems to understand him. As their brief encounter moves between hope, intimacy and heartbreak, Dostoyevsky explores the gap between the lives we live and the lives we imagine for ourselves.

Tender, bittersweet and remarkably intimate, White Nights speaks to anyone who has ever found connection in an unexpected place, fallen for a possibility, or held on to a moment long after it was gone.
