What if fitness was never meant to be about chasing a number on the scale, a six-pack or the next personal best?
What if it was about becoming someone who feels stronger, calmer, healthier and more alive inside and out?

In a world overflowing with conflicting advice, wearable metrics and endless wellness trends, Shivohaam takes us back to a simpler, more meaningful question: What is health really for? Drawing on decades of coaching experience, modern scientific research and the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, he offers a refreshing perspective on fitness, not as a destination, but as a way of life and a shift in mindset.

The Training Mindset isn’t another exercise manual or diet book. It’s a guide to building a resilient body, a steady mind and habits that last a lifetime. Through practical insights, real conversations and a philosophy rooted equally in scientific evidence and ancient Indian knowledge, Shivoham shows how movement, nutrition, recovery, mindset and self-awareness come together to create lasting wellbeing.
Whether you’re taking your first step towards better health or looking to rediscover your purpose beyond aesthetics, this book will help you move past quick fixes and build a healthier relationship with yourself. Because true fitness isn’t about chasing the perfect body, it’s about building one that serves you well, every single day.

SHIVOHAAM

Shivohaam is one of India’s leading fitness and wellness coaches, having trained some of the country’s biggest names, including Ram Charan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.
A former professional swimmer and water polo player, Shivohaam founded CrossFitOM in Mumbai, where he helps people transform not just their bodies, but their lives. His approach combines strength training, functional movement, nutrition, recovery and physiotherapy, with a focus on sustainable habits over quick fixes.
Drawing on modern science and the principles of Ayurveda, he advocates a holistic approach to health rooted in balance, resilience and self-awareness. He believes lasting transformation begins in the mind, and that true fitness is about more than appearance—it is about strength, clarity, vitality and purpose.
The Training Mindset extends this philosophy, inviting readers to rethink what it truly means to be healthy.
