Deepak Ramola

Deepak Ramola is probably on a long walk somewhere, humming a folk melody. He recently learnt how to drive and how to swim. What he has known for much longer is that he loves potatoes, people and possibilities, roughly in that order.

As a wisdom historian and award-winning educator, Deepak has spent seventeen years gathering life lessons from everyday people across 195 countries through his organization Project FUEL. That same curiosity carries him into the classroom—as faculty and a Life Design Fellow at Stanford University and co-instructor of the Meaning of Life course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a former Kindness Ambassador for UNESCO MGIEP, he is the author of three books spanning poetry, self-help and narrative non-fiction. He was a 2024 finalist for the Yuva Sahitya Akademi Award for his poetry collection Karwan Ka Shauq Hai.
