Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay

Amrita Pritam was one of the most renowned and popular writers from Punjab. She was born in 1919 Gujranwala, Punjab, in India. She spent her childhood and completed her education in Lahore. She started writing during her teenage years and has written over a hundred poems, as well as fiction, biographies, articles and her autobiography, which have helped her carve out a special place for herself in the world of literature.
