मराठी के इसी नाम से प्रकाशित बेस्टसेलर एवं अत्यंत चर्चित नाटक का यह हिंदी अनुवाद है। यह नाटक दो चरित्रों के संघर्ष का नाटक है। एक हैं—एंग्लो इंडियन जेलर मिस्टर ग्लाड, जिनके नाम से ही कैदियों और जेल-कर्मचारियों की रूहें काँपती हैं, जिनके कदमों की आहट पाकर पेड़ों पर बैठे परिंदे भी सहमकर चहचहाना बंद कर देते हैं, लेकिन वे ख़ुद अंतर्द्वंद्व का शिकार हैं। दूसरी ओर है वीरभूषण पटनायक एक नक्सलवादी—जिसे फाँसी की सज़ा देकर जेल भेजा जाता है। इन दोनों का आमना-सामना होते ही दो व्यक्तियों का टकराव शुरू हो जाता है। अंत तक टकराव चलता रहता है और प्रेक्षक निर्णय नहीं कर पाता कि आख़िर जीत किसकी हुई।
यह नाटक प्रकाशन के पूर्व ही कई जगह मंचित हो चुका है। गुजराती में इसका मंचन हो रहा है और इसी नाटक पर इसी नाम से एक हिंदी फिल्म भी बन चुकी है।

Vaishravani/वैश्रवणी
वैश्रवणी रावण की बहन एवं विद्युतजिह्वा की धर्मपत्नी थी। शादी के कुछ ही दिन बाद यह विधवा हो गई थी। यह राम से पुनर्विवाह करना चाहती थी, लेकिन राम और लक्ष्मण दोनों ने ही इससे विवाह करने से इनकार कर दिया। वैश्रवणी ने सोचा कि यह सब सीता के कारण हुआ तो, जब इन्होंने सीता पर हमला किया तो लक्ष्मण ने इनके नाक-कान काटकर इन्हें कुरूप बना दिया।
यह उपन्यास इन्हीं वैश्रवणी के जीवन पर आधारित है। मूलतः यह उपन्यास उड़िया भाषा में लिखा गया और बेस्टसेलर रहा। 2010 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार के अलावा इस कृति को कई अन्य पुरस्कार मिल चुके हैं।
Vrihad Bhagya Chandrika/वृहद भाग्य-चंद्रिका
विश्वविख्यात भविष्यवक्ता एवं ज्योतिषाचार्य कीरो का बहुचर्चित ग्रंथ है—वृहद भाग्य-चंद्रिका। इस ग्रंथ में संसार में पहली बार ग्रह-नक्षत्रों के क्रमिक प्रभावों को प्रस्तुत किया गया है। दीर्घकालीन अनुभवों द्वारा उन्होंने प्रामाणिक पाया कि प्रत्येक मास के हर दिन पर भी ग्रहों का प्रभाव पड़ता है और इस ग्रंथ में इसे वह विस्तार से समझाते हैं।

Zindagi/ज़िंदगी
ज़िंदगी सामाजिक मनोभूमि पर लिखा गया एक पारिवारिक उपन्यास है। इसके केंद्रीय पात्र हैं—गोपीशाह। वे एक बड़े परिवार के मुखिया हैं। परिवार के अधिकांश सदस्य भौतिक दृष्टिवादी हैं। परिणामतः उनका जीवन या तो अति सुख में बीतता है या अति दुःख में। गोपीशाह का कहना है कि वास्तविक जीवन सुख-दुःख से ऊपर की वस्तु है और ऐसा जीवन तभी जिया जा सकता है, जब वह योजनाबद्ध हो। साथ ही उसमें दुःखी के दुःख निवारण की भावना स्वार्थरहित हो। ज़िंदगी का यही निचोड़ प्रस्तुत उपन्यास का कथ्य है।
उपन्यास में चरित्र और घटनाओं का ऐसा अपूर्व समन्वय हुआ है कि दोनों ही प्रधान हो उठे हैं और दोनों की प्रधानता में ही एक अनूठे-जीवन रस का संचार हो रहा है। हमारा विश्वास है, ज़िंदगी का यह जीवन-रस वर्तमान तथा भावी पीढ़ी के लिए प्रेरक सिद्ध होगा।
Shakuntala/शकुन्तला
शकुन्तला एक विश्वप्रसिद्ध नाटक है। मूलत: यह संस्कृत में लिखा गया है, लेकिन इसका अनुवाद संसार की सभी प्रमुख भाषाओं में हुआ है। यह एक बहुत ही रोचक कहानी है। राजा दुष्यन्त और शकुन्तला की प्रेम कहानी. . . राजा दुष्यन्त अपनी प्रेमिका शकुन्तला से गांधर्व विवाह करता है, लेकिन बाद में वह एक ऋषि के शाप के कारण अपनी ही प्रेमिका को भूल जाता है। उसकी प्रेमिका शकुन्तला गर्भवती होती है और पतिता होने के कारण जंगल में चली जाती है, जहाँ वह एक बालक को जन्म देती है, जिसका नाम भरत रखा जाता है। बाद में राजा को अपनी प्रेमिका की याद आ जाती है और वह शकुन्तला और उसके बेटे को अपना लेता है। शकुन्तला क बेटा भरत चक्रवर्ती सम्राट बनता है और उसी के नाम पर इस देश का नाम भारतवर्ष हुआ।
