Yadvendra Sharma ‘Chandra’ was a well-known novelist, short story writer and dramatist from Rajasthan. He has written many influential novels on the feudal lords of Rajasthan. In his novels Khamma, Annadata, Mitti Ka Kalank etc., he has attacked the innate hollowness, conspiracies and frustrations of kings, jagirdars who fuelled and perpetuated feudalism.
