Devashish Makhija has written the collection of short stories Forgetting, the YA novel Oonga, the children’s picture books When Ali Became Bajrangbali, Why Paploo Was Perplexed, We Are The Dancing Forest, and Go Go Flamingo, two collections of poems Bewilderness and Occupying Silence, and made the movies Joram, Bhonsle, Ajji, Taandav amongst many others.
