Justine Drennan is a writer and editor whose work has appeared in Foreign Policy, The Associated Press, The Nation, The Diplomat, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Asia Times, Der Spiegel, The Phnom Penh Post, and others. She received a bachelor’s degree in History summa cum laude from Princeton University and studied visual arts and creative writing there as well. She earned a master’s in International Relations with a focus on Asia at Cambridge University, where she and Satbir’s son Sukrit, classmates and friends from Princeton, were in the same cohort of Gates Cambridge Scholars. Justine’s poetry has been published in anthologies by Candlewick, Push, and 826 Valencia. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
