आलोक श्रीवास्तव कविता, कहानी, फ़िल्म-लेखन और टीवी पत्रकारिता का जाना-माना नाम हैं। शाजापुर(म.प्र) में जन्मे आलोक तीन दशक से ग़ज़लकार के रूप में प्रसिद्धि पा चुके हैं। सभी प्रतिष्ठित पत्रिकाओं में रचनाओं का प्रकाशन होता रहता है। उनका पहला ही ग़ज़ल-संग्रह आमीन सर्वाधिक चर्चित, लोकप्रिय व बहु-पुरस्कृत पुस्तकों में शामिल हुआ है। कई भारतीय व विदेशी भाषाओं में उनकी रचनाओं का अनुवाद भी हो चुका। उन्हें शब्दशिल्पी सम्मान(भोपाल), हेमंत स्मृति कविता सम्मान(मुंबई), परंपरा ऋतुराज सम्मान(दिल्ली), मध्य प्रदेश साहित्य अकादमी का दुष्यंत कुमार पुरस्कार, फ़िराक़ गोरखपुरी सम्मान (उदयपुर) मिल चुका है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर मास्को(रूस) का अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुश्किन सम्मान व अमेरिका के वाशिंगटन में हिंदी ग़ज़ल सम्मान मिलने के साथ वे कथा यूके की ओर से ब्रिटेन की संसद हाउस ऑफ कॉमन्स में सम्मानित होने वाले पहले युवा ग़ज़लकार हैं।

Duvvuri Subbarao served as governor of the Reserve Bank of India for five years (2008-13). Prior to that, he was finance secretary to the Government of India (2007-08) and secretary to the prime minister’s Economic Advisory Council (2005-07). Topping the civil services examination in 1972, Subbarao joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). In a career spanning thirty-five years, he held various positions at the state level in the Government of Andhra Pradesh and at the central level in the Government of India. He was a lead economist in the World Bank for over five years (1999-2004). After stepping down from the Reserve Bank of India in 2013, Subbarao was a Visiting Fellow, first at the National University of Singapore and later at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently visiting faculty at the Kautilya School of Public Policy in Hyderabad and at Yale University in the US.

Ranjan Adiga is a Nepali-American writer. His stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Huffington Post, Story Quarterly, among other outlets. Leech and Other Stories is his debut collection.
