Meena Raghunathan

Enhancing the quality of school education has been something that Meena Raghunathan has been concerned about and working towards for close to four decades: first as part of Centre for Environment Education, a pioneering NGO which has been at the forefront of innovative education; and then starting up and heading CSR for the GMR Group with a focus on education, health, skill training, and livelihoods.

She has developed textbooks for various levels, including the first textbook on the environment for the undergraduate level in India. She has worked on over a dozen teacher-manuals which help integrate sustainability-related concepts into the curriculum, as well as policy documents. She has authored Doing Good: Navigating the CSR Made in India. She also writes for children.

Salman Masood

Salman Masood is a Pakistani journalist who has been working as a Pakistan correspondent for the New York Times since 2003. He is also the Editor of Pakistani newspaper the Nation since 2020. The focus of his reporting has been on politics, international relations, and terrorism. In 2009, he contributed to the New York Times reporting team that won the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of Pakistan and Afghanistan. His writings have also appeared in several other local and international news publications, notably Janes Terrorism & Insurgency Monitor, the Guardian, the News and the Express Tribune. In 2013-2014, he acted as the editor of Pique, a political and lifestyle magazine. He wrote for Abu Dhabi based the National from 2008-2011. He has appeared as an analyst/guest speaker on theNew York Times Public Radio, CNN and several Pakistani news TV networks. Salman Masood lives in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Rupleena Bose

Rupleena Bose works as an associate professor at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Her PhD is on urban music from nineties Calcutta. She has written several screenplays and a non-fiction film titled You Don’t Belong, which has won a National Film Award. She also writes on cinema and culture for The Hindu, BLink, Firstpost, the Economic and Political Weekly, Open, ThePrint and others.

She divides her life and livelihood between Aldona, Goa, and New Delhi with her family and her cats. Summer of Then is her debut novel.
She has been a Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship Holder (2012) at the University of Edinburgh for creative writing. She is also an occasional actor and has co-written a non fiction book on the history of film festivals titled In the Life of a Film Festival (HarperCollins, 2018).
