Dharini Bhaskar

Born in Bombay, Dharini has at various points also called the UK, Greece, Delhi and Bangalore home.
Her debut novel These, Our Bodies Possessed by Light (Hachette India) was shortlisted for the 2020 JCB Prize for Literature, Tata Literature Live! (First Book: Fiction), and the Valley of Words book awards. She has been published in the anthology Day’s End Stories; is a columnist for The Free Press Journal; and has contributed to Hindu BLink, Arre, Firstpost, Mint Lounge, Vogue, among other publications.
Dharini has spent over a decade in publishing, including as editorial director of Simon and Schuster India. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, painting, backpacking, and taking long bike rides with her little boy.

Satish Y. Deodhar

Satish Y. Deodhar is the author of the bestselling book Day to Day Economics. He teaches economics at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Anurag Bhaskar

ANURAG BHASKAR is a legal scholar who pursued LLM from Harvard Law School and BA LLB (Hons) from Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. For his research, the Bluestone Rising Scholar Award was conferred on him by Brandeis University, USA. He has also held fellowships at Harvard Law School and the University of Oxford. His articles have been published in various academic journals, newspapers and online platforms. He holds a faculty position at O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, and is an affiliate faculty at Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession. Bhaskar is currently working on deputation as a deputy registrar at the Supreme Court of India.

Ishinna B. Sadana

Ishinna B. Sadana is a mother, parenting expert and trainer whose passion is working with parents with the aim of raising not only happier children but also happier parents. She has a PhD in human development and a master’s in human development and childhood studies.

Ishinna also runs a centre called ‘New Insights’ where she has helped thousands of parents through workshops and personal sessions.
She believes that it’s her life’s purpose to help and enlighten the lives of parents. Power to the Parent is an important step towards fulfilling that goal, for she aims to share her knowledge on a massive scale with many more parents who are searching for answers. She also shares her knowledge on social media, especially Instagram, where she has over a million followers.

Jayanath Pati

Jayanath Pati (1890–1939) was born in Sadipur village of Nawada subdivision of Gaya district, Bihar. After completing his intermediate (10+2), he cleared the exam to become a mukhtar (a lawyer knowledgeable in British laws during the colonial Raj in India) and set up a successful practice in Nawada. He was well versed in Urdu
and Persian and knew Sanskrit, English, Bangla and Latin. His first novel, Sunita (1927), was about a woman who is married to an elderly man, the manuscript of which seems to be lost. His second novel, Fool Bahadur, was published on April Fool’s Day in 1928 followed by his third novel, Gadahnit, in the same year.
