Khyati Pathak is an IT consultant turned artist who looks at the world like it’s a puzzle waiting to be solved. She creates comic artwork on not-so-comic themes such as politics, feminism, environment and culture. Her work has featured in children’s magazines Pluto and Cycle, and on comics platform Bakarmax. Anupam Manur
Anupam Manur is an assistant professor at the Takshashila Institution. His research interests lie at the intersection of economics, technology, and public policy. He writes on platform economics, international trade, India’s ongoing jobs crisis, and on economic policy. He edits the Indian Public Policy Review, a peer-reviewed and open-access journal of economics, public policy and strategy. He has also edited three books under the Takshashila Institution Press. Anupam teaches different variants of economics in all of Takshashila’s public policy programmes and is responsible for designing the curriculum for the educational programmes.
Anjali Kajal
Born in 1978, Anjali Kajal is a short story writer originally from Ludhiana, Punjab. Kajal has been writing short stories for over twenty years. her first story, Itihaas (History), published in 1999 in the renowned Hindi monthly magazine, Hans, and went on to be translated into several other languages. her stories have since been published in popular literary magazines, and one, Sailab, has been adapted for the stage. Anjali’s stories tend to explore women’s lives and caste-based discrimination in India.
Kavita Bhanot is a writer, researcher, translator, teacher and organiser. Her fiction, non-fiction and academic writing has been published widely, including the influential essay Decolonise not Diversify. She is the editor of three short story collections., including Too Asian, not Asian Enough (2011) along with Violent Phenomena: 21 Essays on Translation (2022). Ma is Scared, her translation of Anjali Kajal’s stories won a 2021 Pen Translates Award. her first novel won the third prize in the SI Leeds Literary Prize. She founds and directs Literature Must Fall and Jaag: Panjabi and Pahari-Pothwari Language and Literature Festival. Kavita teaches Creative writing at Birmingham University.

Parakh Om Bhatt comes from a Pandit family who are experts in performing Vedic rituals. He is a renowned columnist, electrical engineer and tantra practitioner. Additionally, he has been studying the ancient Sanskrit scriptures of the Sanatan Dharma and tantra, while also working on the Maha-Asura series for several years. Rajendran, an adjunct professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore and Kusala Rajendran, formerly a professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, are a husband-and-wife seismologist team. They have over thirty-five years of experience in research and teaching in geosciences and are globally known for their research and contributions to earth science, particularly in earthquake studies. Involved in efforts to improve the public understanding of science, both of them are currently working for the Consortium for Sustainable Development, Connecticut, USA.

of Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
She, along with her husband, Nissar Allana,
established the Dramatic Art and Design Academy (DADA), and Theatre and Television Associates (TTA) for the dissemination of theatre knowledge. Her book The Act of Becoming is about twenty-two famous Indian theatre actors. She is currently the director of Art Heritage Gallery, New Delhi, and is a lifetime trustee of the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts. She is a recipient of the Girish Ghosh Award, the Homi Bhabha Fellowship and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, among others.
