Geet Chaturvedi

Geet Chaturvedi is one of the most widely read contemporary Hindi writers. The recipient of numerous literary prizes, including the Raza fellowship for fiction writing, he was named among Ten Best Young Writers of India by the Indian Express. He won the 2021 Vatayan-UK Literary Award for his contribution to Hindi literature. His novel Simsim, translated into English by Anita Gopalan, won a PEN/Heim and was longlisted for JCB Prize for Literature. His works have been translated into twenty-four languages.

Anita Gopalan

Anita Gopalan is a translator of Hindi literature. Her translations include Geet Chaturvedi’s The Memory of Now (winner of the Anomalous Press Chapbook Reading Contest), Simsim (recipient of a PEN/Heim translation grant and longlisted for the JCB Prize for Literature) and The Funeral (featured in the Best Literary Translations Anthology, guest-edited Jane Hirshfield).

Meher Wan

Satinder Kumar Lambah

Peshawar-born Satinder Kumar Lambah served the Government of India for over five decades, including two tenures in Pakistan as Deputy Chief of Mission and High Commissioner; Ambassador to Hungary, Germany and Russia; Chairman of National Security Advisory Board; Special Representative for Afghanistan under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and later as Special Envoy for back-channel talks with Pakistan during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s tenure for a decade. After leaving the government, he continued to lead Track II dialogues with several key countries and was Chairman of Ananta Aspen Centre for two terms.

Tanushree Podder

Tanushree Podder is a well-known travel writer and novelist. She has written several non-fiction books before moving to fiction, and has now published sixteen novels. Her books include Nur Jahan’s Daughter, Boots Belts Berets, On the Double, Escape from Harem, Solo in Singapore, A Closetful of Skeletons, Before You Breathe, No Margin for Error, The Teenage Diary of Rani Laxmibai, The Girls in Green, Spooky Stories and An Invitation to Die. Ambapali is her seventeenth novel. Three of her books, Boots Belts Berets, A Closetful of Skeletons, and The Girls in Green, are being adapted into web series

Gopinath Mohanty

GOPINATH MOHANTY (1914-1991), one of the chief architects of modern Indian literature, was the first recipient of the Kendriya Sahitya Akademi Award (1955) and other prestigious honours, including the Soviet Land Nehru Award (1970), Jnanpith Award (1973) and Padma Bhushan (1981). He wrote twenty-four
novels, ten collections of short stories, three plays, two biographies, two volumes of critical essays and two works of translation.

Aditi Mathur Kumar

Aditi Mathur Kumar is an author, mother, advertising professional and a proud Indian Army wife. Aditi’s first book, Soldier & Spice, is a heart-warming and poignant story about the grand and mysterious world of Army wives, and since it was released in 2013, the book gave way to a whole new genre of stories about defence families. As a civilian married to an Army officer, she believes that the world needs to hear the stories of families of those serving in the forces.

Aditi is also the only Indian Army wife to deliver a TEDx talk about the lives of Army families.

Kalki

Ramaswamy Krishnamurthy, better known by his pen name Kalki, was an Indian writer, journalist, poet, critic and Indian independence activist who wrote in Tamil. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi award for his novel, Alai Osai (The Sound of the Waves).

Nitin Kushalappa MP

Nitin Kushalappa MP, by profession, is a software developer who has been responsible for twenty-two iPhone apps that have been released so far. Over the past decade, he has worked as a team lead, entrepreneur, and senior consultant for numerous companies. In his free time, he can be found either coding or digging up history-something he’s very passionate about.
Born Mookonda Poonacha Nitin Kushalappa and hailing from Coorg, a region rich in oral lore, Nitin devours myths and folk tales. He has authored seven books so far: four on local history, one biography about an army officer, one translation and a modern-day retelling of the Ramayana. A researcher for the Kodava Virtual Museum, Nitin has worked on an old temple script, and has also written several articles for news dailies. Currently, he lives in Bengaluru with his family.
