Gauhar Raza

Gauhar Raza is an Indian scientist, poet, and documentary filmmaker, known for his contributions to science communication and progressive thought. A former Chief Scientist at CSIR-NISCAIR, he is recognised for proposing the ‘Cultural Distance Model’ of Public Understanding of Science, writing acclaimed books of Urdu poetry, and directing powerful documentaries like In Dark Times, Inqilab, and Jung-e-Azadi. Raza blends scientific rigor with poetic sensitivity, making him a unique voice at the crossroads of reason, culture, and social change.

Jagjeet Lally

Jagjeet Lally is Associate Professor of the History of Early Modern and Colonial India at University College London, where he is also Director of the UCL Centre for Transnational and Global History and Co-Director of the UCL Centre for the Study of South Asia and the Indian Ocean World. He studied the social sciences at Oxford before training as a historian, first at the London School of Economics and then at Cambridge. A historian of South Asian economic and material life, and the author of two other books, among them the prize-winning India and the Silk Roads: The History of a Trading World(2021), Jagjeet is now embarking on the study of late Mughal bazaars and the kinds of people and pleasures to be found within them.

Ravi Mantrii

Ravi Mantrii was born in Andhra Pradesh, South India. He pursued his master’s degree from the JNTU College of Engineering before moving to Ireland for work. A business analyst during the day, Ravi’s nights in Ireland were spent reading and writing Telugu books. Ravi has penned several short stories that have been published in renowned Telugu magazines. He embarked on his literary journey in 2019 with his debut novel, *Amma Dairylo Konni Pageelu*. The novel became a national bestseller and won the hearts of many readers. An avid social media influencer, he actively creates relatable content for his followers. Ravi is currently working on his second novel.

Gaurav Rampal

Gaurav Rampal is a leading bloodstock professional with twenty years of experience in trading and managing thoroughbred horses globally. An MBA in marketing, and former banker, he followed his passion for horses to become a top professional in this field. Gaurav works with a diverse international clientele, including industrialists and royal advisors. He is a certified Horse Assisted Educator and corporate trainer.

In 2023, he introduced ‘The Horseman Way’, an empathy-driven leadership programme that enhances creativity, emotional intelligence, and people management through interaction with horses, fostering authenticity and empathy in leadership.

Abhishek Chaudhary

Abhishek Chaudhary, currently residing in Mumbai, serves in a managerial post at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In his current capacity, he specializes in the supervision of entities ranging from large Scheduled Commercial Banks to new-age NBFCs under the Risk-Based Supervisory Framework, evaluating risk and capital assessments.

Before assuming his current role, Abhishek Chaudhary pursued Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur, subsequently earning an MBA from IIM Calcutta with a focus on Finance and Economics. He has been engaged in literary pursuit since long, improvising his works continuously and the current novel is a culmination of past four years of dedicated effort. He is a keen scholar of Growth Dynamics and structural changes in the contemporary world and the macroeconomic constructs governing them. In his spare time, he loves playing cue sports and follows Formula 1.

Nandita Da Cunha

Nandita da Cunha is an award-winning children’s book author based in Mumbai. Her picture books include The Miracle on Sunderbaag Street (winner, Neev Book Award and a 2021 Parag-Honour-List book), Just like Papa and The Magic in My Fingers. Her chapter books include Pedru and the Big Boom and The Magic of Maya. She is also a pianist and is a licentiate from the Trinity College of Music, London.

Illustrator Bio:
Shubhangi Chetan studied painting and Indology and has been working with an NGO as an artist and documentation person. After attending Riyaaz Academy in Bhopal, she has been writing, illustrating and being a storyteller for children. She runs a workshop called Art of Free Expression for children in Mumbai.
