Gandhi Rajmohan

A former parliamentarian in India, Rajmohan Gandhi currently teaches in the USA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Apart from several biographies, his works include Understanding the Muslim Mind and Revenge and Reconciliation: Understanding South Asian History, both published by Penguin India.

M M Monippally

M.M. Monippally is a Professor of communications at IIM Ahmedabad. A specialist in strategies of managerial communication, persuasion, and bad news delivery, he has designed and run training worksops for middle and senior managers at Morgan Stanley, Reuters India, ICICI Bank, MICO Bosch, Global Trust Bank, and many other organizations.

Amrita Gandhi

Amrita Gandhi loves a good story and her encounters with princely India, the people inside and outside the places gates , have given her more tales than she can possibly ever recount. She has written and presented Royal Reservation on NDTV Good Times scince the cHannel was launched in 2007. Amrita has scripted other travel shows such as the award – winning Ten Things to Do and Warrior Tribes of Nagaland. Amrita has worked in creative format development in the United States. She ia stage actor , having trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and at Shakespeare & Company, with performancees on stage and in theatre festivals in California. Amrita studied in Rishi Valley, and at the University of Durham, UK, and read anthropology for her master’s degree at London School of economics.

K.R. Usha

Usha K.R. is the author of the novels Sojourn (1998), The Chosen (2003), A Girl and a River (2007) and Monkey-man (2010). Her novels have been listed for several awards, including the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, the Man Asia, and the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature. A Girl and a River won the Vodafone Crossword Award, 2007. Monkey-man was shortlisted for the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature, 2012. Her short story ‘Sepia Tones’ won the Katha Award for Creative Writing back in 1995. Usha K.R. She lives in Bangalore.

Itisha Peerbhoy

Itisha Peerbhoy continues to live in deep regret that she didn’t become a zookeeper. However, being able to write this book has done a considerable amount of soothing, elating and pep-talking to her animal-poo-deprived nerves. She lives in Bangalore, travels to Bombay as often as she can to visit her childhood home, and channels her inner Delhiite to any ‘Southie’ who will listen. V. Raghunathan is director, India programme of Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto. He is a former professor of IIM Ahmedabad, former president of ING Vysya Bank and former corporate CEO. He is also an adjunct professor at Schulich School of Business, Toronto. He is an author and a columnist.
