Karthik Laxman

Karthik Laxman has a degree in software engineering from BITS-Pilani and an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad. In his career he has taken more U-turns than Mulayam Singh Yadav and Arvind Kejriwal put together, transitioning from a programmer to management consultant to development specialist to entrepreneur to sundry other roles, before finding his calling as a house-husband. He also writes for and manages The UnReal Time

Moti Nandy

Moti Nandy was an eminent Bengali writer and sports journalist. He was born in Kolkata in 1931, and was an alumnus of the University of Kolkata. He worked as a sports editor for Anandabazar Patrika. His first short story was published in Desh magazine in 1957. Moti Nandy was awarded the Ananda Puraskar in 1974, for his contribution to Bengali literature. In 1991, he was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel Sada Kham (The White Envelope). Nandy died in Kolkata in 2010.

Bhaskar Chattopadhyay is an author and translator. His novels include Patang and his translations include 14: Stories That Inspired Satyajit Ray.

Nayeema Ahmad

Nayeema Mahjoor is a leading journalist and fiction writer from
Kashmir. She has previously worked as news editor (Urdu) at BBC
World Service in London for two decades, and travelled from South
Asia to the Middle East to Europe in search of the big issues facing
people, particularly women.
Her unique style of short-story writing has earned her fame in
literary circles and her work has been translated into other languages.
Her novel Dahshatzadi was published in India and Pakistan in 2012.

Anjali Chabbria

Dr Anjali Chhabria is the founder of Mindtemple, a counseling centre which caters to psychiatric, emotional and behavioural concerns in individuals. She has been the president of the Bombay Psychiatrist Society from 2001-02. Dr Chhabria has contributed in the past to many leading dailies like the Times of India, Mid-day, DNA, Indian Express and magazines like India Today, Physician’s Digest, Femina, Women’s era, Savvy and Harmony. She also contributes a regular column for the magazine Sindhian and for Delhi-based ‘Free Press Journal’. In addition, she is a regular speaker for the local radio station Radio Mirchi and has given inputs at other local radio stations like 92.7
FM. She has also been a part of esteemed panels for various television shows, as well as a chief guest for contests such as Gladrags Mega Model and Man Hunt. Dr Chhabria is one of the first few doctors to offer the latest treatments such as Repetitive Trans-cranial Magnetic Treatment (rTMS) since 2011, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) since 2012 and Trans-cranial Direct Current Stimulation (TDCS) treatment since 2013 in affiliation with Delhi-based Dr Sanjay Chugh.

Bharat Anand

Bharat Anand is the Henry R. Byers Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and received his Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University. Professor Anand is an expert in digital and corporate strategy. He has studied how new technologies affect what we watch, read and hear and how companies navigate digital change. He has written more than fifty articles and case studies, received awards for his research and case-writing and chaired various executive education programs. He is a two-time winner of the “best teacher award” at Harvard Business School. Anand has advised leading organizations and entrepreneurs around the world. Recently, he helped create Harvard Business School’s digital learning initiative, HBX, which he now oversees as faculty chair.

Rajat Sethi

Rajat Sethi is a public policy and management graduate from Harvard University and MIT Sloan, respectively. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. Rajat is currently the political adviser to the chief minister of Manipur. He is active in impacting politics in the various North-eastern states of India.

Shubhrastha is a graduate of Miranda House, New Delhi, and is a noted columnist and TV debater. She is the assistant editor of the India Foundation Journal, and works with the office of the BJP national general secretary, Ram Madhav, in the North-east.

Rinki Roy Bhattacharya

Rinki Roy Bhattacharya has cinema in her veins. Daughter of Bimal Roy, she married Basu Bhattacharya and collaborated on his films. She has had a distinguished career as a freelance journalist, writing extensively for well-known publications of the Times group, the Telegraph, The Hindu and the Indian Express on films, theatre, art and feminist issues.
She has co-directed the documentary Char Diwari and the short film Janani, and has also edited books Behind Closed Doors, on domestic violence, and Janani, an anthology of stories on the mother-daughter relationship.

Holger Kersten

Holger Kersten is an author specializing in religious history. He studied theology and pedagogics at Freiburg University, Germany, and has travelled extensively in the Middle East and India. He is also the author of The Jesus Conspiracy (1994), The Original Jesus (1996) and Jesus Did Not Die on the Cross (1998).
