Gopi Krishnaswamy

Gopi Krishnaswamy is a former managing director at IDEO and a thought leader working at the intersection of mindfulness, leadership and high performance.
After decades inside boardrooms and high-growth environments, he recognized a pattern: burnout is rarely a personal weakness—it is a system design flaw.
Trained in Zen practice, including time spent at Master Thich Nhat Hanh’s monastery in Thailand, Gopi integrates disciplined inner practice with executive-level leadership experience. He is a certified teacher of Search Inside Yourself, the mindfulness-based emotional intelligence program developed at Google.
As founder of Llama, he advises organizations on building cultures where performance and well-being reinforce each other rather than compete. He has worked with leaders across five continents, reaching over 1,00,000 professionals from organizations including Deloitte, BCG, Aditya Birla Group and NASSCOM, and has spoken at global forums including engagements with the governments of the UK and Canada.
His work focuses on one core challenge of modern leadership: how to achieve high performance without burnout.
Gopi is also the author of Creativity Unleashed, published by Bloomsbury.
