Sudhir Kakar is a distinguished psychoanalyst and writer. He has written seventeen highly acclaimed books of non-fiction, which include, among others, The Inner World (now in its sixteenth printing since its first publication in 1978), Shamans, Mystics and Doctors, Intimate Relations, The Colours of Violence and, most recently , Young Tagore : The Makings of a Genius.

Chinmay Tumbe loves to laugh and learn. He is passionate about migration, cities and history, and is currently a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. An alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science; the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore; Ruia College, Mumbai; and Rishi Valley School, Madanapalle, he has been a faculty member at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad. He was a 2013 Jean Monnet Fellow at the Migration Policy Centre, European University Institute, Florence, and the 2018 Alfred D. Chandler Jr International Visiting Scholar in Business History at Harvard Business School. He has published widely on migration for a decade and has served on policymaking groups. India Moving is his first book.

Alex Salkever is a technology leader and author. He has been a chief marketing officer, a Businessweek editor, a visiting researcher at Duke University, and a senior executive at leading technology companies. He pens columns regularly for Fortune and consults for numerous technology companies.

Vivek Wadhwa is a distinguished fellow at Harvard Law School’s Labor and Worklife Program, a professor at Carnegie Mellon’s College of Engineering, and a globally syndicated columnist for the Washington Post.

Ullekh N.P. is an author, journalist, columnist and political commentator based in New Delhi and Kerala. A bilingual writer and public speaker, his earlier books are Kannur: Inside India’s Bloodiest Revenge Politics (2018), The Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox (2016) and War Room: The People, Tactics and Technology Behind Narendra Modi’s 2014 Win (2015). He is the subject of episode 1 of the documentary web series Love Storiyaan (2024) on Amazon Prime.

Rinku Paul:

A corporate career spanning over sixteen years with the news channel Aaj Tak, a part of the India Today Group, made up the first part of Rinku’s career. Till she decided to pursue her dream-impacting people’s lives!
She is now an internationally certified life coach, corporate trainer and neurolinguistic programming practitioner. In co-founding a writing studio, The Muse, she has also given her first love, writing, a professional outlet.
This is her second book. Her first, Dare to Be: 14 Fearless Women Who Gave Wings to Their Dreams, which she co-authored with Puja Singhal, was released to acclaim.
Rinku lives in New Delhi, with her husband and daughter.

Namita Devidayal was born in 1968 and graduated from Princeton University. The Music Room, her first book, was a winner of the 2008 Vodafone Crossword Popular Book Award and was named an
Outlook book of 2007. A journalist with The Times of India, Namita lives in Mumbai.

Arefa Tehsin spent her childhood treading the Aravalli jungles with her naturalist father. As a child, she was often found trying to catch a snake or spin a yarn. She grew up to be a storyteller and was appointed the honorary wildlife warden of Udaipur for a term. She is the author of several fiction and non-fiction books, and writes columns and articles for various dailies and magazines.
