Vimal Kumar studied journalism at the Indian Institute of Mass
Communication (II MC), Delhi, and started his professional career with the
International Management Group’s Trans World International (IMG-TWI).
He has since worked for TV Today Network (Aaj Tak and Headlines Today)
and Network18 (IBN7 and CNN-IBN) in their Hindi and English channels
as a sports journalist. Besides his regular work on television as deputy
sports editor for IBN7, he has also contributed to publications like Sports
Illustrated, Outlook, Mid-Day, the Tribune, Child, Cricket Samrat, Cricket Today
and websites like IBNlive.com, Cricketnext.com and IBNkhabar.com.
Vimal has covered two cricket World Cups, in 2007 and 2011, and has
reported on cricket in most of the Test-playing nations. He also presents
guest lectures in IIMC and Manav Rachna University. His Twitter handle

Dr Vinita Salvi is a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology who practises in Mumbai. She was professor and head of unit at the Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She is an editorial consultant for Lancet, the world’s leading medical journal. Because of her renown as a specialist in high-risk pregnancies, couples from India and abroad seek her help in planning conception and during pregnancy and childbirth.

Subroto Bagchi is chairman and co-founder of Mindtree, one of India’s most admired software companies. He has books like The High Performance Entrepreneur, Go Kiss the World and The Professional to his credit. His business book for young adults, MBA at 16, was published in 2012. He lives in Bangalore with his writer wife Susmita. They have two daughters, Neha and Niti.

Zeena Dhalla is a premier Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor in the Orange County, California area. She is currently the Founder of Vertical Pilates, the first ‘vertical’ only Pilates studio in the US.

Jasim Khan is a senior journalist and TV producer active in the field of journalism for the last fifteen years. After completing his training in radio and television journalism, he has been associated with many reputed news channels like Zee News, Aaj Tak and Star News (now ABP News). Currently, he produces special shows as an Associate Executive Producer for ABP News. Jasim Khan was born and brought up in Baitul district of Madhya Pradesh. Deepak Sharma is a journalist, traveller, poet and theatre activist. Born and brought up in the hills of Himachal, he is in his element amidst mountains and forests. Kota Neelima has been a journalist for seventeen years, and has worked with the Indian Express, Mint, and the Sunday Guardian, among other publications. She has written two novels, Riverstones (2007) and Death of a Moneylender (2009).

Dr T.V. Rao is considered to be the father of HRD in India. He is a teacher, social entrepreneur and institution builder. Born in rural India, he was brought up by his mother and grandparents. He got a degree in BSc from Andhra Loyola College; BEd from Regional College of Education, Mysore; MA in psychology from Osmania University; and PhD from Sardar Patel University. He is associated with pioneering the departments of psychology at the Andhra and Udaipur universities and the Education and Training Department at the National Institute of Health Administration and Education, New Delhi. He joined Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 1973 and taught until 1994 as a full-time professor and subsequently as a visiting/adjunct professor until 2014. He is currently a member of the IIMA Society and on the board of governors of the institute. Dr Rao founded the National HRD Network and the Academy of HRD, both renowned institutions in HRD. He has authored around sixty books including Managers Who Make a Difference. He has two daughters and a son and lives in Ahmedabad with his wife and son.

Satish Y. Deodhar teaches economics at the IIMA. He has not only worked on imperfectly competitive market structures, agricultural trade, WTO, and food quality issues, but also conducted consulting projects for Indian Bank; Ministry of Food Processing Industry, Government of India; and the Economic Research Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. Currently, he chairs the one-year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX).
