Prasenjit Mukherjee

Prasenjit Mukherjee studied English Literature, topping his university at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and taught briefly before joining the civil service. After a long career that took him across India and abroad, he retired and now lives in Gurgaon. Born to a family displaced from East Bengal, themes of displacement, loneliness, and rootlessness run through his poetry.

His work draws on memory, lived experience, and cultural myth, with Odisha and Kashmir recurring as significant landscapes. Apart from poetry, he has written fiction and translated from Bengali into English. His short stories have appeared in The Illustrated Weekly of India, and a playlet was published in Enact. He has also translated two novels by Saratchandra Chatterjee, published by Rupa & Co.

Chander Mohan Parsheera

Prof. (Dr) Chander Mohan Parsheera is a professor of tourism at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, known for his adventurous expeditions, expertise in destination planning, and dedication to preserving natural heritage. His research on the Chanderbhaga (Chenab) River in the Himalayas has inspired local communities to institute an annual festival celebrating their river heritage. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) in London, he has long been associated with Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and other professional tourism bodies.

Surjeet Chatterjee

Surjeet Chatterjee is a psychology postgraduate and travel entrepreneur. An accomplished adventurer, she has trekked to Everest Base Camp twice and led a rescue mission on the frozen Zanskar River. A spirited cancer survivor, Chatterjee turned her own battle into a mission by trekking the challenging Kashmir Great Lakes route during treatment and co-founding Project Cause to empower Himalayan women in overcoming cancer.

Aarambhh M Singh

Aarambhh M Singh is an internationally acclaimed writer-director. In 2011, his debut short film, Rosebed, was recognised as a Rising Star of Asian Cinema at the Beijing Film Festival. In 2019, he was felicitated alongside auteur giants like Anurag Kashyap and Ritesh Batra at the prestigious Poitiers Film Festival, France, for his compelling contribution to Indian cinema. His breakout web series, Damaged, was ranked among the Top 5 Psychological Thrillers of 2018, alongside shows like Sacred Games. Since then, Aarambhh has directed five acclaimed web series across India’s top OTT platforms, including Zee5, Amazon Mini, Voot, and ALT Balaji, with a signature style that blends raw realism with emotional depth.

Sameena Dalwai

Sameena Dalwai is a law professor and a writer. Her writing features in newspapers in Marathi and English. Her books include Bans and Bargirls: Performing Caste in Mumbai’s Dance Bars, Babri Masjid: 25 years on… and Bhatak Bhawani.

Sameena dabbles with theatre and loves Zumba.
