Vandana Vasudevan is a writer and researcher exploring how technology and urbanisation are reshaping everyday life in India and South Asia. Trained in management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and holding a PhD in Urban Studies from Université Grenoble Alpes, (France) she blends academic research with storytelling to illuminate complex social and economic changes for a wider audience. She is also the author of Urban Villager: Life in an Indian Satellite Town (SAGE, 2013) and Tough Customer (Westland, 2014) and has written extensively for Indian dailies.
