Squiggle’s back this time, in a fun-filled adventure that helps turn muddled sentences into ones that make sense!

Squiggle’s stuck! She’s fallen into a dictionary and can’t escape. The only way out is to create a grammatically correct sentence and use it to jump off the page. She’s even got to rescue a very mixed-up character called Doodle Dude while helping him learn about verbs, nouns, prepositions and more such. Can you help them build a getaway sentence?

This new adventure follows on from Natasha Sharma’s brilliant and highly acclaimed Squiggle Takes a Walk, the best way to figure out the world of punctuation.

At a chance meeting that might have been fated all along, the two twelve-year-olds are stunned by their own resemblance! As they exchange stories, their friendship rapidly deepens over pooping messenger pigeons that one can call with a special whistle, and Dada’s kites dancing in the wind with colourful tails. But their joyous days come to an abrupt halt when Veer is kidnapped by malicious goons and Arzaan makes a fatal sacrifice to protect his friend. Will their bond be enough to save them both or is there only so much two young boys can do?

Asmara’s Summer

For a month, I’m going to be living a lie.’
Seventeen-year-old Asmara is popular, funny and pretty, but has a secret that could destroy her street cred in college: her grandparents live on Tannery Road, an area known for its lower-middle-class Muslim population-an area she’s always ensured she’s avoided. And now, to her horror, she discovers that she must spend her entire summer vacation there. Will it be a nightmare, or a lesson in self-discovery? Or both? Will Asmara find herself in the bylanes of Tannery Road?

Gangamma’s Gharial

‘There was a swish of a tail and for the first time in more than seventy years, the bazaar at Giripuram was Gangamma-less.’
At the ripe old age of seventy-nine and a quarter, Gangamma the gardener comes across a rather unusual object-a gharial-shaped earring that can take her anywhere in the world. On her very first trip, she tries to kidnap an apple tree, only to discover that it has a guardian-a sullen twelve-year-old girl, and an unlikely friendship springs between the two.
But that’s only the beginning of this story . . . or well, the middle, depending on how you look at it.
This book is no teleporter, but it will transport you (whether you’re twelve or seventy-nine) to a fabulous (as in, fable-like) land of strange creatures and odd heroes, and where things are never what they seem.

Goal, Butterfingers!

Full of action and adventure, Goal, Butterfingers!, the second book in the Butterfingers series, will make you lose yourself in the hilarious exploits of Amar and his friends as they hurtle through various hare-brained schemes.

Howzzat Butterfingers!

When school term begins, the Green Park Under 15 cricket team, of which Butter is the vice captain, is determined to win the Colonel Nadkarni Under 15 Inter-School Limited Overs Cricket Trophy. Practice starts, but disasters soon follow. The star all-rounder breaks his hand, a girl comes to study in Amar’s class and the school is in danger of losing its playground!

All this and more keep Amar and his team on their toes. Will they win the coveted trophy and save the school’s grounds? Or will it slip from their grasp like a classic Butterfingers catch?

Ayesha and the Firefish

‘Ayesha thought for a bit. Her parents had told her never to talk to strangers. But they hadn’t mentioned anything about strange dolphins.’

Ten-year-old Ayesha has everything an adventurer needs-courage, cleverness, creativity, and a complete lack of caution. But even Ayesha has to admit that the mission Shekina (the Queen of the Seas, no less) has charged her with may be slightly out of her league.

After all, it does involve saving the world. Of course.

And it’s not like she has a fire-breathing dragon or a super-smart android as a sidekick. Try a snarky surfboarding snail instead.

Join Ayesha as she jumps headlong into an extra-extraordinary adventure that takes her halfway across the world (and a little beyond).

Oddbird

Isn’t ‘odd’ just another word for ‘special’?

Adjust your vision and see the world through the eyes of a unique little girl in a world too big for her. With pigeons for family and a squirrel for a friend, life for Oddy-all of three inches tall-is plain sailing as she flies on her brother Pikku’s back, savours tasty seeds and jumps about in hopes of someday sprouting wings of her own! But what will Oddy do when thrust into the world of ordinary-and towering-humans? Who is she and where does she really come from?

Delve into the fantastical world of Oddbird, in which the normal boundaries between humans and animals are blurred by affection, joy and a dollop of the bizarre!
