जो बुद्ध के पास था, ठीक उतना ही लेकर तुम भी पैदा हुए हो। तुम्हारी वीणा में और बुद्ध की वीणा में रत्ती भर का फासला नहीं है। भला तुम्हारे तार ढीले हों, थोड़े कसने पड़ें। या तुम्हारे तार थोड़े ज्यादा कसे हों, थोड़े ढीले करने पड़ें। या तुम्हारे तार वीणा से अलग पड़े हों और उन्हें वीणा पर बिठाना पड़े। लेकिन तुम्हारे पास ठीक उतना ही सामान है, उतना ही साज है, जितना बुद्ध के पास। अगर बुद्ध के जीवन में संगीत पैदा हो सका, तुम्हारे जीवन में भी हो सकेगा।
Trishna se Tripti Tak/तृष्णा से तृप्ति तक
बुद्ध को मरे पच्चीस सौ साल हो गए, लेकिन जिनको भी थोड़ी सी समझ है, उन्हें आज भी उनकी सुगंध मिल जाती है। जिन्हें समझ नहीं थी, उन्हें तो उनके साथ मौजूद होकर भी नहीं मिली। जिनमें थोड़ी संवेदनशीलता है, पच्चीस सौ साल ऐसे खो जाते हैं कि पता नहीं चलता; फिर बुद्ध जीवंत हो जाते हैं। फिर तुम्हारे नासापुट उनकी गंध से भर जाते हैं। फिर तुम उनके साथ आनंदमग्न हो सकते हो। समय का अंतराल अंतराल नहीं होता; न बाधा बनती है। सिर्फ संवेदनशीलता चाहिए। ओशो आज कथा को वैसे ही कह देना, जैसी ढाई हजार साल पहले कही गई थी, गलत होगा; बुद्ध के साथ अन्याय होगा। ढाई हजार साल में जैसे आदमी बदला है, ऐसे ही कथा को भी बदलना चाहिए। तो ही आज के आदमी को पकड़ में आएगी। ढाई हजार साल पहले जो कथा लिखी गई थी, वह तो ऐसा है, जैसे खदान से निकाला गया अनगढ़ हीरा। कोई जौहरी होगा, तो पहचान लेगा। लेकिन साधारण आदमी अनगढ़ हीरे को न पहचान पाएगा। पहले तो उस हीरे को निखारना होगा, साफ करना होगा, तराशना होगा। उस हीरे पर चमक लानी होगी। उस हीरे से धूल, असार झाड़ना होगा, तब साधारण आदमी पहचान पाएगा।
Man aur Manushya/मन और मनुष्य
गौतम बुद्ध ऐसे हैं जैसे हिमाच्छादित हिमालय। पर्वत तो और भी हैं, हिमाच्छादित पर्वत और भी हैं, पर हिमालय अतुलनीय है। उसकी कोई उपमा नहीं है। हिमालय बस हिमालय जैसा है। गौतम बुद्ध बस गौतम बुद्ध जैसे। पूरी मनुष्य-जाति के इतिहास में वैसा महिमापूर्ण नाम दूसरा नहीं। गौतम बुद्ध ने जितने हृदयों की वीणा को बजाया है, उतना किसी और ने नहीं। गौतम बुद्ध के माध्यम से जितने लोग जागे और जितने लोगों ने परम-भगवत्ता उपलब्ध की है, उतनी किसी और के माध्यम से नहीं। – ओशो बुद्ध एक ऐसे उत्तुंग शिखर हैं, जिसका आखिरी शिखर हमें दिखाई नहीं पड़ता। बस थोड़ी दूर तक हमारी आंखें जाती हैं, हमारी आंखों की सीमा है। थोड़ी दूर तक हमारी गर्दन उठती है, हमारी गर्दन के झुकने की सामर्थ्य है। और बुद्ध खोते चले जाते हैं–दूर…हिमाच्छादित शिखर हैं। बादलों के पार! उनका प्रारंभ तो दिखाई पड़ता है, उनका अंत दिखाई नहीं पड़ता। यही उनकी महिमा है। और प्रारंभ को जिन्होंने अंत समझ लिया, वे भूल में पड़ गए। प्रारंभ से शुरू करना; लेकिन जैसे-जैसे तुम शिखर पर उठने लगोगे, और आगे, और आगे दिखाई पड़ने लगा, और आगे दिखाई पड़ने लगेगा।

साक्षीभाव : परम सूत्र
मैं तुम्हें अपने पर नहीं रोकना चाहता। मैं तुम्हारे लिए द्वार बनूँ, दीवार न बनूँ। तुम मुझसे प्रवेश करो, मुझ पर रुको मत। तुम मुझसे छलांग लो, तुम उड़ो आकाश में। मैं तुम्हें पंख देना चाहता हूँ, तुम्हें बाँध नहीं लेना चाहता। इसीलिए तुम्हें सारे बुद्धों का आकाश देता हूँ। मैं तुम्हारे सारे बंधन तोड़ रहा हूँ। इसलिए मेरे साथ तो अगर बहुत हिम्मत हो तो ही चल पाओगे। अगर कमजोर हो, तो किसी कारागृह को पकड़ो, मेरे पास मत आवस्तुतः मैं तुम्हें कहीं ले जाना नहीं चाहता, उड़ना सिखाना चाहता हूँ। ले जाने की बात ही ओछी है। मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ, तुम पहुँचे हुए हो। जरा परों को तौलो, जरा तूफानों में उठो, जरा आंधियों के साथ खेलो, जरा खुले आकाश का आनंद लो। मैं तुमसे यह नहीं कहता कि सिद्धि कहीं भविष्य में है। अगर तुम उड़ सको तो अभी है, यहीं है। ओ।
